Senior housing occupancy is still 200-300 basis points below pre-COVID peak while the boomer cohort hitting 75-plus is growing at 4 percent annually -- zero new senior housing was built during COVID creating a structural supply shortage. The basket spans senior housing REITs (Welltower, Ventas, LTC, Sabra, Omega Healthcare), the largest senior living operator (Brookdale), the highest-quality skilled nursing operator (Ensign Group), pharmacy automation for complex elderly drug regimens (Omnicell), wound care and neurosurgery (Integra LifeSciences), and facility management for senior properties (ABM Industries). Rebalances quarterly to equal weight.
