Fixed-basket index of 20 companies in multilayer ceramic capacitors and the wider passive component chain -- the least glamorous and most inelastic input in electronics. An AI server carries tens of thousands of MLCCs and an electric vehicle carries roughly ten times the passive content of a combustion car. The basket runs from upstream dielectric powder and electrode paste (Shoei Chemical, Sakai Chemical) through the MLCC oligopoly itself (Murata, Taiyo Yuden, Samsung Electro-Mechanics, Yageo, Walsin, TDK, Kyocera, Samwha) into adjacent passives and circuit protection (Chilisin, Cyntec, Nippon Chemi-Con, Nichicon, Vishay, Knowles, Littelfuse, CTS) and closes with test and distribution (Hioki, Arrow). Structurally a non-US theme -- roughly 80% of high-end capacity sits in Japan, Korea and Taiwan. Rebalances quarterly to equal weight. Non-USD holdings are converted to USD.
