ILXQuant De-Globalization and Nearshoring Logistics Basket Index

Fixed-basket index of 10 companies operating the physical and digital infrastructure of the largest restructuring of global trade since the post-WW2 GATT framework. Mexico surpassed China as the largest US trading partner in 2023. Trump 2025 tariffs created the most complex US duty structure since Smoot-Hawley 1930. Descartes Systems (DSGX) processes 30 million customs documents annually for 22,000-plus customers -- growing 20 percent annually as tariff complexity increases, almost completely uncovered by Wall Street. Saia Inc. operates 200-plus terminals across the US Southeast, the primary distribution zone for Mexican nearshored goods. The basket also spans customs brokerage (Expeditors International), freight logistics (C.H. Robinson), precision LTL (Old Dominion), intermodal transportation (J.B. Hunt, Hub Group), full truckload (Knight-Swift), contract warehousing (GXO Logistics), and LTL freight (XPO). Rebalances quarterly to equal weight.
